A. All of the Market's shops and patios are accessible and we can provide you with a wheelchair – just visit the Market office (directly upstairs at Gate 1) and ask our staff for assistance.
A. Yes. Ask our patio staff or Public Safety Officers for help in locating a highchair.
A. Lots of them: There is an ATM at Gilmore Bank in the North Market, another on the Market Plaza (in front of Cost Plus World Market), another on the East Patio (near Bennett's Ice Cream, across the aisle from China Depot) and one more on the West Patio (near La Korea BBQ, across from Peking Kitchen).
A. Our Lost & Found is in the Market Office, upstairs above Gate 1. You may also call 323-933-9211 to make an inquiry.
A. You bet! The Original Market features two of the coolest beer and wine bars in L.A., E.B.'s Beer & Wine and 326. Mixology 101 next to Planet Dailies has a full bar and is a true Hollywood hot spot. And, a number of our restaurants Marmalade Cafe, Planet Dailies, Little Spain, Mr. Marcel's, and Ulysses Voyage serve alcohol as well.
A. Most do, some don't. Your best bet: before you make your purchase, ask the counter staff if they take plastic, or call ahead to your vendor of choice and ask. (Or use cash – see question #3 about ATMs.)
A. Our Community Room (on the upper dining deck, next door to the Market Office) will accommodate meetings of up to 32 folks, and our Upper Dining Deck is available for larger groups up to 120 people. They are available to nonprofits and civic groups and you can find out how to reserve them from our Market Office staff at 323-933-9211.
A. Unfortunately reserving tables is not possible. The place is so popular that it just wouldn't be fair to hold tables for some while others don't have that advantage. Now, that doesn't mean that you and your gang can’t visit the Market for Junior's birthday party and sit at several tables which are right beside one another, but we can't reserve those tables for you. While the whole Market can't be booked for a private affair, you can look into booking our Upper Deck or Community room for a special event of 120 people or less. You can call 323-933-9211 if you are interested in using the Community Room or Upper Dining Deck but it must be catered by a Farmers Market merchant/restaurant.
A. Jobs available with the A. F. Gilmore Company (which owns and operates the Market) and openings at Farmers Market merchants can be found on the job opportunity section of this website http://www.farmersmarketla.com/contact/jobs.asp or by calling 323-933-9211. Most Market shops are owned and operated by individual entrepreneurs and the Market itself does not coordinate their hiring, but you may find an occasional "Help Wanted" sign posted at a Market shop.

A. Farmers Market, and the land on which it sits, has been owned by the Gilmore Family since 1861. The Market is overseen by members of that family to this day; the fifth generation of Gilmores is active in the business and a sixth generation is already toddling around the property, getting to know the ropes.
